According to his agent Scott Boras, free agent outfielder Johnny Damon wants to play for the Tigers in 2010.
Reportedly, Damon believes he can help make Detroit “a winner.” Boras will likely now put pressure on Tigers management to sign Damon, citing recent successes his other clients (Ivan Rodriguez, Kenny Rogers, Magglio Ordonez) have had with the team.
