Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports that the Yankees have signed three players to minor league contracts.
- Royce Ring (LHP) – 29 year-old left-handed reliever who last pitched in the majors for Atlanta in 2008, posting an 8.46 ERA in 42 appearances (22.1 innings).
- Reid Gorecki (OF) – 29 year-old outfielder who has some experience at all three outfield positions. Batted .200/.222/.200 in 27 plate appearances with the Braves in 2009.
- David Winfree (OF) – 24 year-old outfielder who batted .273/.317/.460 in Triple-A Rochestor (Twins organization) in 2009. Has never played in the majors.
