Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports via Twitter that the Astros have agreed to a one-year deal with pitcher Brett Myers.
The deal is reportedly pending a physical exam. We’ll have more details as they become available.
Update: Myers will get a one-year contract that guarantees him $5 million in 2010 and a mutual option for 2011. He also can earn additional performance bonuses. Myers was 4-3 with a 4.84 ERA in 10 starts and eight relief appearances last year.
