According to a team press release, the Royals have signed six players to minor league deals for the 2010 season.
- Adam Bostick, 26, is a lefty reliever from the Mets system.
- Bruce Chen, 32, is a reliever who pitched in 17 games for the Royals in 2009.
- Devon Lowery, 26, is a righty reliever who appeared in five games for the Royals in 2008, but missed the entire 2009 season with a shoulder injury.
- Ernesto Mejia, 24, is a first baseman who played in just 36 minor league games in 2009 after battling several injuries.
- Francisco Rosario, 29, is a righty reliever who made 23 appearances for the Phillies in 2007.
- Vance Wilson, 36, is a veteran major league catcher who spent last year in the minors, following Tommy John surgery.
