The Giants decided against offering arbitration to all of its free agents, including catcher Bengie Molina, outfielder Randy Winn, right-hander Bob Howry, left-hander Randy Johnson, right-hander Brad Penny, and infielders Juan Uribe and Rich Aurilia.
The team was mainly concerned about Molina accepting arbitration and possibly costing them more than $6 million.
