Will the Yankees go for the jugular and sign John Lackey. Over at PinstripeAlley.com, the talk is otherwise.
There are some interesting ideas of looking within the organization for answers rather than another 8-9 digit long-term deal they gave C.C. Sabathia and A.J Burnett. I like the idea of paying a touch more and bringing back Andy Pettitte for another year. The Phil Hughes and Joba Chamberlain experiment in the starting rotation however is not one I would pursue.
