Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com is highlighting some of the young pitchers the Detroit Tigers have down on the farm.
Some of the team’s recent gems include Rick Porcello, the 2007 first-round pick in the First-Year Player Draft, who finished third in American League Rookie of the Year voting. Ryan Perry, from the first round of the 2008 Draft, was a valuable part of the Detroit bullpen all year.
