FoxSports.com is saying that talks between the Red Sox and Tigers about Miguel Cabrera’s availability can not be ruled out.
Red Sox owner Joh Henry owned the Marlins back in 1999 when Henry authorized the signing of the 16-year-old Cabrera out of Venezuela for $1.8 million. He also was instrumental in the Marlins signing their #2 pick overall Josh Beckett, only to go and get him for the Red Sox years later. Will history repeat?
