Ken Davidoff believes Johnny Damon and his agent Scott Boras will take a hard stance with the Yankees this winter and will likely mean he plays somewhere else.

Damon was 100% in agreement with the remarks Scott Boras made regarding the huge value that Damon brings to the Yankee lineup, especially hitting 2nd behind Jeter, enabling the captain to put up better number the last couple of seasons.

I am a die hard Yankee fan and I love what Johnny Damon was brought to the table throughout his playing time in NYC, but we need someone that can throw the ball. Runner's never respected Damon's throwing arm.
  • You're right, his arm has always been horrible. I remember Boston fans taking solace in his noodle arm when the Yankees signed him (truth be told, they were sad to see him go -- he was the face of the franchise after Nomar was traded). He could still be very effective as a DH, though, so don't count him out as far as re-signing with the Yanks.
