Ben Shipgel of the New York Times is reviewing what the Mets two main objectives are for this offseason.
With the Mets leery of committing to someone long-term because first-base prospect Ike Davis is looking like another David Wright ripping up the Arizona League, the Mets may consider bringing back Carlos Delgado to fill in the first base situation and give the Mets some power at the same time.
