Florida Marlins: Adrian Gonzalez – No, Brett Myers – Maybe

Joe Frisaro of MLB.com is discussing some possible moves the Marlins would consider.

The idea of getting an Adrian Gonzalez sounds great, but unless the Marlins would trade them Dan Uggla, Jorge Cantu and more, this deal can have little chance of happening. It would make little sense for the Marlins that I can see.

Another thought discusses if right-handed pitcher Brett Myers. Myers is a real wild card. He can be a starter or a reliever and he has something to prove this year. Whoever signs him to a one-year deal may get a positive surprise if Myers is healthy. The Phillies did the right thing for Myers, by letting him go. He can get a fresh start and make the big money again if he can do his thing in 2010.
